Newick Park

Newick Park is a beautiful Grade II* listed Georgian House set in over two hundred acres of landscaped gardens and parkland. It has always been privately owned and still retains the feel of a family home.  The ambience is enhanced by great cuisine and dedicated service from the staff who do all they can to ensure your stay is a thoroughly enjoyable one.

Newick Park

The oldest part of the house dates from the 16th century and was an Ironmaster's home, the extensive Dell gardens behind the house being the site of his excavations.  After the ironworking stopped the house fell into disrepair and was rescued by Francis Millington, whose descendant, George Vernon of Chesham, built the main part of the house in the 18th century.

Since Newick Park first opened as a hotel in 1997 it has established itself as one of the best places in the South East in which to hold your private party, conference or meeting, providing the perfect setting for these important occasions.

Many of the private functions are held as exclusive events meaning that apart from staff, you and your guests are the only people in the Hotel.  This gives an added enjoyment to the celebration and makes Newick Park seem just like your own.  The spacious and light reception rooms provide a superbly elegant setting and if the weather is fine then the extensive lawns overlooking the lake and the South Downs are the perfect place to sip your champagne or Pimms!

There are five elegant rooms to choose from to hold your event, along with 16 beautifully appointed bedrooms.  If you're looking for some fun, we can also arrange outdoor activities such as tank driving and quad biking in the grounds.
