Barber Surgeons’ Hall has been the home of the Worshipful Company of Barbers since 1430. The previous halls, this is the third have been destroyed firstly In the Great Fire and then in the Second World War.
The building holds a range of magnificent paintings including the famous portrait of Henry VII by Hans Holbein which can be admired which guests have a dinner or reception within the Great Hall.
The venue is located away from the noisy areas of the city in the quiet Monkwell Square.
Barber Surgeons is a wonderfully peaceful venue tucked away from the bustle of the City in the private and tranquil Monkwell Square.
The Great Hall leads into the garden at Barber Surgeons. If the weather is inclement then the inside space would always be available to host the event and with a variety of interesting rooms that can be used this would ensure that the weather could not spoil the event!
