Christmas @ Studio 54
Willows Farm Village, Coursers Road, London Colney, St Albans, Hertfordshire - Shared & Exclusive Party

Where better to celebrate Christmas than in New York’s legendary club of the 70s & 80s Studio 54? Studio 54 promises to be the craziest, funkiest and wackiest party ever. Renowned as being a melting pot of people, it’s a place where the rich and beautiful people happily rub shoulders with the outrageous, wild and wacky, and where onlookers can feast their eyes on a veritable “human zoo” of amazing characters.
Exquisite food, pulsating music, breathtaking entertainment and a vibrant, electric atmosphere makes Studio 54 the hottest, most glamorous event for a night guaranteed to be talked about well into next year.
As you arrive, savour the intermingling scents of cinnamon, pine trees and roasting chestnuts. Feel the exhilaration of a group of skaters wrapped up warmly in scarves, hats and gloves as they circle the giant Rockerfeller Christmas tree, frosted lightly with snow and drenched with thousands of sparkling fairy lights. As you listen to the joyful melodies of well-known Christmas classics, your spirits will lift and modern life will fade into the background as for a few hours you immerse yourself into a crazy, funky parallel world.
Having entered the foyer, sail up the pink carpet and pass flash guns of the rabid paparazzi and meet the colourful club hostess who will tick you off her VIP list. As you walk through the giant pink fireplace, up the dry iced staircase and enter the Club, prepare to be amazed. Pounding disco beats fill the room and high above, cages hang from the ceiling, filled with lithe young bodies bedecked and painted in an array of silver, gold, rainbow, ruffles, sequins and feathers, grooving and pulsating to the rhythm. Hot-pant clad roller skaters serve sherbet dib dabs, popping candy, flying saucers and a range of succulent canapés for the grown ups.
Overhead, a beautiful girl with multi-coloured eyelashes and an iridescent mermaid tail gently swings on a trapeze, sprinkling angel dust on guests as they pass below. Suspended high above the bar are the glamorous bar angels with gilded bodies, gold micro shorts, sparkling hair and angel wings; they fly in circles offering ice cold Vodka shots to the revellers down below.
Beneath a rainbow coloured star lit canopy, hangs a myriad of mirror balls, decadently hanging from billowing silks. Two central under lit dance floors pulsate and flash wildly to the music. It is across this colourful terrain that crazily dressed ushers and usherettes will lead you to your seats. The tables provide a wild collage bursting with colour; centres of towering pink flamingos, mirror balls, fish bowls full of exotic baubles, five foot high multi coloured puff balls and chair covers in hot pink, electric blue and deep violet.
Once guests are seated for a sumptuous dinner, the real extroverts take to the floor to execute their wild and unreserved performances. A train of gold clad skaters shoots out onto the stage and they spiral round at dizzying speeds amidst the crackling of pyrotechnics. A weird and wonderful collection of camp, funky and sexy people dressed in a riotous array of colours and styles will raise the temperature in the room and lift the atmosphere to new levels of excitement.
While dinner is served, the Boogie Brothers will whip the crowd into a frenzy. Clad in little more than hot pants, sneakers and bandanas, this hot strutting, body popping, jaw dropping crew of phenomenal acrobats contort themselves into fantastical shapes. They juggle fire, balance on each others heads and dance up a disco storm as a waterfall of iridescent, shimmering bubbles cascades around them.
The whole scene is presided over by a DJ bedecked in gold medallions, lycra and platform shoes as he is flown high above the heads of the crowd. From here, he orchestrates the party, ensuring there is a continuous stream of music and commentary. For those that seek a diversion from the visual spectacle, discreet areas are set aside where they can engage Roulette, Texan Poker and Blackjack. A Glamour Zone hosted by make-up artists offers an opportunity for an instant transformation with false eyelashes, jewelled tattoos, rainbow coloured wigs and an endless supply of lip gloss.
As the evening accelerates in pace and the music shows no sign of slowing down, dodgem cars whiz around outside, while canons explode over the dance floor, showering it with a deluge of streamers and wild colours of confetti. The performers pour into the audience and dance with such abandon that no one can remain unaffected. They pull willing participants on to the dance floor where boundaries soon blur, as cast and guests join a party that will be talked about well into New Year.
