Kinetic Connections
Kinetic Connections is a creative team building activity in which everyone is working towards one solution. As an activity, it can be used to develop team work skills and address a range of important issues or simply be run as a fun and innovative activity. Themed around a creative storyline, it provides participants with a high class event that is really unusual and full of intrigue, ingenuity and innovation.
Kinetic Connections provides teams with an abstract scenario which mirrors a real life business challenge. With little information and no initial direction, only the combined efforts of every individual member of the group make the impossible possible, achieving success on schedule.
In stage one, each team will have their own giant kinetic model to assemble by interpreting a variety of clues, solving a number of problems and working to some complex diagrams. Each sculpture has a real ‘toy-box’ feel to it and, when complete, is a working machine in its own right.
In stage two, all teams join forces, connecting their models to form a single working mechanical piece. When triggered, a fantastic chain reaction unfolds in front of all climaxing in an audio-visual spectacle.
Kinetic Connections is an ideal breakout activity that provides teams with a safe, non-threatening and fun experience. It can be run simply to provide the team with an innovative activity or as a more focused session to explore various team work issues.
