Dino Dash
Dinosaur Dash is a fun-packed activity that has been specifically designed to promote and support the development of a number of key team work skills. It can be run as a stand-alone event or be incorporated into a number of other programmes. In addition, it encourages teams to work to a clear routine and manage their time effectively and can be used to explore the pros and cons of teams competing against each other.
Based on the historical and famous Royal Tournament Field Gun race, the teams each have an innovative slot-together dinosaur puzzle that they have to build and manoeuvre down a pre-set course.
In true Royal Tournament fashion, the teams have to work together to achieve the task which includes dismantling their dinosaur to get it through a letter box and under a scramble net.
If they have worked well as a team, they will have rehearsed how to assemble and dismantle the dinosaur, as they will now have to re-assemble it under race conditions whilst competing against the other teams!
Dinosaur Dash is an upbeat and purposeful activity that provides a creative and fun way of developing team work skills and enhancing communication within a team.
It is frequently used to demonstrate the importance of working to tight deadlines and is an ideal way to get your team working together in a participative and fun way.
