Race genuine construction machinery in activities such as JCB Racing and Dumper Racing. Operate construction machinery in Team Building Challenges or hire the whole of the adventure park for exclusive use! Diggerland is not just for kids!
Digger Grand Prix
The Digger Grand Prix encourages you to test your teamwork, co-ordination and communication skills.
Each activity involves genuine full sized construction machinery.
We offer a choice of 7 activities (for example Skidsteer Relay, Dumper and Water Challenge, Minefield Challenge, Spindizzy Sky-Shot, Basketball, Wacky Waiter and the ultimate JCB 3CX Challenge) from which you have a choice of 4 activities if you book a whole day event, or a choice of 2 activities if you book a half-day event.
Alternatively if you have specific requirements, activities can be put together to suit your group’s needs!
Certificates are awarded to each participant with a trophy for the winning team.
Half or Full Day Challenge Activities
Dippy Ducks
Using a static JCB 801 mini-digger, each participant will be given a set time to hook as many plastic ducks as possible out of a pond. Points are awarded for successful catches and penalty points awarded for failed attempts.
3CX Challenge
Each participant will be required to drive a JCB 3CX excavator, accompanied by one of our staff. Whilst driving around a marked course the participant will be required to use the digger for a precision driving task.
Skittles
Using a mini digger each participant will be given a set time in which to knock down 10 metal skittles. Points are awarded for knocking down skittles, and penalty points are awarded for any left standing.
Spin Dizzy
Not for the faint hearted! This ride lets you experience a serious G Force and a bonus point will be given for those brave enough to have a go.
803 Digging Challenge
The exact nature of the challenge will depend upon ground conditions but each participant will need to operate a JCB 803 Digger after tuition from an Instructor.
806 Digging Challenge
Similar to the above but using a bigger Digger!
Additional Information
- Events can be run on almost any weekday in the months between April and October and is available at any of the four Diggerland Parks.
- All participants must be 17 years and over.
- All participants must be able to drive.
- Please note a minimum of 20 guests is usually required for these events so for fewer guests the cost per person may increase a little.
