Corporate Sword Fighting
For an event with a difference, why not try Corporate Sword Fighting; team building that gets to the point.
‘Get the point’ sessions are fun, energise your team and create a memorable event that will re-invigorate the company goals.
All equipment is supplied and instruction is from internationally experienced qualified coaches. The activity is totally safe, with specially designed unbreakable polymer swords. Tailored programs to support your company’s objectives are also available.
Fencing Skills
The group will receive an initial safety and technical briefing. The basics of the en garde position, moving forward and back and the lunge will be taught and practiced.
Then things heat up when the swords are drawn and participants learn the Attack, Defence and Counter Offensive actions.
After about an hour there will be a short break and then the team’s strategic thinking, tactical implementation and teamwork will be tested! One example is ‘The Battle’ below.
The Battle
The Battle of the flag sees two opposing legions use their newly acquired fencing skills to defeat their opposing team by sword and cunning. They get just enough time to talk tactics when the lines are drawn and our teams go into with battle with the objective of attaining their opponent’s colours, returning to their territory and claiming victory.
The ultimate winner of the round is the team with the most flag victories.
Safety
Critical to that perfect experience is your safety. As a company that prides itself on our safety, our experienced and qualified team will provide full safety demonstrations and a briefing before and during the event. Although this may suspend the fun at times, we appreciate your understanding in helping us protect our perfect safety record.
Location Options
Sword Fighting can be held indoors and outdoors and can be run at a wide variety of locations across the UK.
