Here’s an overview of how it works
Circulation Wars is a fun team building event that injects energy into everyone who takes part. Teams trade different commodities for money to be able to buy the materials they need to build their own team skyscraper.
The event is designed to appeal to a wide variety of people so that everyone is involved in producing the tallest team skyscraper as well as accumulating as much money as possible.
There is plenty of fast paced action for those that like to be active. The best teams will also be creative and good at planning their strategy.
How many people can take part ?
Circulation Wars works best for groups of at least 12 people. More people produce more competition, bartering and banter.
There is no upper limit to numbers of participants as long as there is enough time before your event to prepare the props. Please ask if time is tight.
What exactly happens on the Circulation Wars event ?
The event starts with an icebreaker that gets people talking and automatically organises participants into their teams. Teams then normally sit round their own team table which acts as a base for them throughout the game.
A professional presenter introduces the game, sets the scene and points out some of the guidelines and rules of the game. When it’s clear what everyone has to do the game begins.
The “Big Screen” comes to life, teams start buying and selling, haggling with other teams and collecting the materials they need to build their team tower.
Training and learning outcomes.
You will learn a certain amount about your team subconsciously when you take part in the Circulation Wars team event. You’ll see your colleagues in a new light, behaving in different ways in a different setting while you’re all having fun.
If you want your team to learn something specific at a conscious level as well as having fun then Circulation Wars is a great training vehicle for many issues. Here are some:
- Leadership and teamwork
- Communication and planning
- Working towards a common goal
- Dealing with changes in the market
- Commercial and competitive awareness
- Decision making and team unity
Client Comments
Here are a few comments from clients who have chosen Circulation Wars
“Circulation Wars was one of the best conference events we have ever done. Everyone got into the spirit of the game. The competitiveness was amazing and people were seemed prepared to do just about anything to win. You followed the specific brief given and produced an event that was right on the money.
Remarkable, with the limited knowledge you had of our business. It really meant a lot to those that took part because it related to their everyday world. They’ve taken a huge amount away from it. Thank you very much for your professionalism and attention to detail.”
